The AgentivUse cases

No quote or renewal slips through again

An agent that checks HubSpot every morning for quotes with no reply and licences due for renewal, then drafts the follow up email and a task for the rep

Function: SalesEffort: An afternoonPublished: 2026-10-20

The problem

A reseller sends a Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 quote, the customer goes quiet, and nobody follows up until the quarter review. Renewals are worse: the date sits in a deal property, the rep is busy, and the customer hears from the vendor before they hear from you.

How the agent works

  1. It starts

At 08:00 a scheduled Claude task uses the HubSpot connector to query two groups of deals: open deals in the stage the team uses for sent quotes with no logged email or call in the last five working days, and closed won licence deals whose renewal date property falls within the next 60 days.

  2. The agent works

For each one it reads the recent notes and emails on the record, then drafts a short follow up in the customer's language (Thai or English) that refers to the actual quote or licence count, plus a one line suggested next step for the rep. It posts the list to the sales Slack channel grouped by rep and creates a task on each deal with the draft attached, so the work shows up in HubSpot where the rep already lives. The rep sends, edits or snoozes; the agent never emails customers itself and never changes a deal stage.

  3. The result

Deals the rep snoozes are skipped for seven days.

Worked example

HubSpot's own connector for Claude (Anthropic verified, added November 2025) exposes query_crm_data and manage_crm_objects for contacts, companies, deals and tickets, and HubSpot's Sales plugin for Claude Code adds a morning brief, follow ups based on deal history and a pipeline review that flags stalling deals, all writing back to HubSpot. Task creation on a deal is available through community MCP servers such as hubspot_create_task in paulcmpdev's server, which also refuses every delete. Claude's scheduled tasks run daily or on weekdays on connectors alone, so no laptop needs to stay on. None of these pages gives reply or renewal rates; track your own quote to close time before and after.

PDPA note. Customer contact data stays in HubSpot. The Slack drafts name companies and contacts, so restrict the channel to the sales team and do not copy customer data anywhere else.

Know your pipeline without asking

An agent in Slack that pulls deal state from HubSpot, briefs the rep before a call and posts a Monday pipeline digest

SalesEffort: An afternoonHubSpot · Slack · Claude

Sales owners in a small team learn what is happening in the pipeline by asking in Slack, and the answer depends on who is online and whether they updated HubSpot. Renewals slip past their date, deals sit in one stage for weeks unnoticed, and the pre-call homework is done in a rush from memory.

Reply to every lead before your competitors

An agent that reads every Contact Sales email, qualifies it and files it in HubSpot

SalesEffort: About a weekGmail · HubSpot · Slack

Inbound enquiries land in a shared inbox and sit for hours before anyone reads them, and half the details (company, headcount, what they actually want) are missing. By the time a salesperson replies, the lead has emailed two competitors.

The Friday newsletter drafts itself

An agent that gathers the week's published posts, launches and customer wins, drafts the newsletter in Thai and English in the brand voice and waits for one approval

MarketingEffort: An afternoonClaude · Slack · Google Drive

The weekly newsletter is the first thing dropped when the week gets busy, and when it does go out the Thai edition is a rushed translation of the English one. The content already exists in blog posts, LINE broadcasts and Slack announcements; nobody has the hour to assemble it.
