Know your pipeline without asking

An agent in Slack that pulls deal state from HubSpot, briefs the rep before a call and posts a Monday pipeline digest

Function: SalesEffort: An afternoonPublished: 2026-10-18

The problem

Sales owners in a small team learn what is happening in the pipeline by asking in Slack, and the answer depends on who is online and whether they updated HubSpot. Renewals slip past their date, deals sit in one stage for weeks unnoticed, and the pre-call homework is done in a rush from memory.

How the agent works

An admin creates a private app in HubSpot with read scopes for contacts, companies and deals, and adds it as a connector in Claude Tag together with the HubSpot plugin; the credential belongs to Claude, not to a person, and is injected at the network boundary so the model never sees the key. In the account or deal channel, a rep asks Claude for the state of one renewal (last activity, open items, who owns the next step), for deals stuck at a stage and how long each has been there, or for a pre-call brief that pairs the CRM record with what the channel discussed recently. One message sets up a standing routine: every Monday morning Claude posts a pipeline digest with deals that moved stage last week, deals stalled more than two weeks and renewals due in the next 30 days. The connector is read only, so nothing in HubSpot changes; the rep decides what to chase and updates the CRM. Name the timezone in the schedule, since routines run in UTC. Claude Tag is in public beta, so expect the setup to change.

Worked example

Anthropic's Claude Tag documentation gives the prompts as pasted into Slack: a one line question on the Acme renewal that returns last activity, open items and the owner of the next step; a question on which deals are stuck in stage 3 and for how long; a pre-call brief on an account before a 2pm meeting; and a scheduled Monday 9am pipeline digest covering deals that moved stage, deals stalled more than two weeks and renewals due in the next 30 days. The HubSpot connection is created with read scopes (contacts, companies, deals), the private app appears under its own identity in HubSpot's audit log, and the documentation names Salesforce and Gong as the other go-to-market connections that work the same way. No customer results are published.

PDPA note. Deal and contact records pulled into Slack contain customer names and notes. Keep the connector on the sales team's channels only, use read scopes, avoid pasting customer emails into channels, and cover CRM use by AI tools in your privacy notice.

SalesEffort: About a weekGmail · HubSpot · Slack

Inbound enquiries land in a shared inbox and sit for hours before anyone reads them, and half the details (company, headcount, what they actually want) are missing. By the time a salesperson replies, the lead has emailed two competitors.

No more retyping requests into monday.com

An agent that turns client requests and meeting notes into monday.com items with owners and due dates through the official monday.com MCP server

OperationsEffort: An afternoonmonday.com · Claude · Gemini CLI

Requests reach an agency or project team by email, LINE and meeting calls, and someone has to retype each one into the monday.com board, pick the group, set the owner and guess a due date. Items get created late or not at all, and the original request text is lost by the time the work is questioned.

Your LINE OA takes the bookings

A LINE Official Account assistant that takes bookings in chat, checks Google Calendar, confirms the slot and sends a reminder the day before

Salons, clinics, restaurants and repair shops in Thailand take bookings through LINE chat, so a staff member reads every message, checks the paper book or calendar, types a reply and later remembers to send a reminder. Evenings and busy hours leave customers waiting, double bookings happen, and no-shows cost the slot.
