Your LINE OA takes the bookings

A LINE Official Account assistant that takes bookings in chat, checks Google Calendar, confirms the slot and sends a reminder the day before

Function: Customer serviceEffort: About a weekPublished: 2026-10-18

The problem

Salons, clinics, restaurants and repair shops in Thailand take bookings through LINE chat, so a staff member reads every message, checks the paper book or calendar, types a reply and later remembers to send a reminder. Evenings and busy hours leave customers waiting, double bookings happen, and no-shows cost the slot.

How the agent works

The shop's LINE Official Account has the Messaging API enabled, auto-reply off and response mode set to chat, with the webhook pointed at a small server built on LINE's official SDK. When a customer writes 'ขอจองตัดผมพรุ่งนี้บ่ายสอง', Gemini extracts the service, date, time and party size and asks for anything missing. The agent checks free slots in the shop's Google Calendar, offers the closest options as quick replies, and on confirmation creates the Calendar event and replies with a confirmation card. A scheduled job pushes a reminder the day before with a reschedule or cancel option, which runs through the same flow. Requests the model cannot parse, special requests and complaints are left for staff, who answer in the same chat because response mode is chat. Staff still own the day's list in Google Calendar and can block or move anything.

Worked example

No single public build covers the whole flow, so this one is assembled from three open repositories. LINE's own archived sample, line-api-use-case-reservation-restaurant (Unlicense, Python backend on AWS SAM with a Vue front end), implements restaurant booking inside the LINE app and states that a LINE message reminder to stop customers forgetting their visit comes as standard; its README points to a sibling hair salon sample. wuyenlin/calbot shows the calendar half: a Node bot that reads a day's appointments from Google Calendar and posts them to LINE as a Flex message. kkdai/linebot-gemini-pro shows the Gemini half: a LINE bot that handles text and image messages, with the setup steps for turning off auto-reply, setting response mode to chat and enabling the webhook. LINE's official Python SDK supplies the signature check and reply methods. None of these publish booking volumes or no-show figures.

PDPA note. Bookings hold names, phone numbers, LINE user IDs and visit history. Store only what the booking needs, set a retention period for chat logs, tell customers in the OA greeting that an assistant books first and staff can take over, and treat reminders as service messages, not marketing broadcasts.

Your LINE OA answers the same five questions

An agent that answers FAQs and order status on your LINE Official Account and hands the rest to staff

Customer serviceEffort: About a weekLINE · Claude · Slack

Most LINE OA chats ask the same five things: price, stock, shipping time, where my order is, and how to pay. Admins answer them one by one until late evening, and the one message that really needs a person, a complaint or a refund, waits in the same queue.

No more retyping requests into monday.com

An agent that turns client requests and meeting notes into monday.com items with owners and due dates through the official monday.com MCP server

OperationsEffort: An afternoonmonday.com · Claude · Gemini CLI

Requests reach an agency or project team by email, LINE and meeting calls, and someone has to retype each one into the monday.com board, pick the group, set the owner and guess a due date. Items get created late or not at all, and the original request text is lost by the time the work is questioned.

Know your pipeline without asking

An agent in Slack that pulls deal state from HubSpot, briefs the rep before a call and posts a Monday pipeline digest

SalesEffort: An afternoonHubSpot · Slack · Claude

Sales owners in a small team learn what is happening in the pipeline by asking in Slack, and the answer depends on who is online and whether they updated HubSpot. Renewals slip past their date, deals sit in one stage for weeks unnoticed, and the pre-call homework is done in a rush from memory.
